Marketing Executive - Chennai & Coimbatore - IDEA Cellular

IDEA Cellular is a publicly listed company, having listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in March 2007.
Idea is the 3rd largest mobile services operator in India, in revenue terms, and recorded a subscriber base of over 78 million as on end November '10. Designation: Marketing Executive - 3G Product
Job Description: He will be responsible to support in achieving the device and data plans revenue by working along with the sales teams. This will involve joint working in ground level promotions and activities, designing 3G plans as per market requirement.

Will work with the sales team on the various branding and pop material that would be required at the retail and ground level.
Responsible for 2G and 3G new data subscription sales and data plan revenue.

Responsible for driving penetration of 3G enabled handsets and sale of 3G dongles
Branding activities, MIS, U & R

Desired Profile:
• Continuous upgrade/refresher on new technological changes along with new device models & Operating Systems.
• 3G technology being new, role holder will have to take a lead in new data & device offerings.
• Role holder is also expected to continuously upgrade knowledge about opportunities, trends etc which are happening at a fast pace and work towards converting them to revenue sources for Idea.
• Again these being new areas, great deal of efforts are required to educate the customers and get them to spend money on these value added services through effective campaigns
